Las Fallas
The Fallas of Valencia is one of the most famous festivals in Spain. Daily at 14.00 o clock there are very large, and particularly loud fireworks, the Mascletás. But the most important part is of course the ' Fallas ', the huge dolls of paper mâché or paperboard, wood, etc.
At the end of the event these are burned down. The Fallas are in the first three weeks of March and the most famous and largest in the city of Valencia. On a smaller scale you can experience the Fallas in Benicarló near Mas del Rey, which are certainly also worth a visit.
