Medieval Morella
Morella is situated about 60 km inland from Vinaròs, one hour driving from b&b Mas del Rey. It is one of the better preserved fortified towns, with its city walls of 2,5 kilometers length and full of Gothic architecture. Morella is an art-historical heritage and is impressively located on top of a hill.
When you are lucky, in winter, you can see the old fortress rising above the blanket of clouds. The castle served as a prison in the middle ages. Morella and all his interesting places like the Convento de San Fransisco, it is well worth a visit.
