Almost every day in the early morning or in the late afternoon you can encounter groups of cyclists on the country roads. On racing bikes or on mountain bikes, and people of all ages. You must have a reasonable physical condition for biking in the area. It's never flat, sometimes just a bit uneven and  sometimes the roads go steeply up or even better, steeply down. For the recreational cyclist the coast is quite near. You can ride from Peñiscola to Vinaròs or vice versa, there is even a special cyclist friendly path. For more challenge you

have to go inland. Less than 10 km from here you can challenge yourself with steep climbs. And the views are beautiful: country roads along orange, almond and olive groves. You will pass authentic villages for a stop or a lunch. And you can't get lost, you just drive back towards the coast. We can advise you about different possibilities.
